Do No Harm, but Take No Shit

Justice is a kind of pact, not to harm or be harmed. Epicurus

There is a big difference between a pacifist, who is totally anti-violence, and a true warrior who desires peace. A pacifist doesn’t believe that violence is ever called for, no matter what the circumstances may be.

The warrior knows that there are times when violence is unfortunately required, and that there absolutely are times when violence is not only justified, but mandatory as a part of his duty. Does this make the warrior a violent person? Absolutely not!

The warrior puts his honor and duty first place, even if it means temporarily leaving his sanctuary of inner peace and tranquility to put his life on the line to protect others. The warrior is selfless when it comes to protecting his loved ones, those who can’t defend themselves, and stopping the predators of this world.

The pacifist can get by chanting, “Give Peace a Chance,” because the warrior is there to save his butt when the pacifist crosses paths with some predator that has different point of view about violence. If you consider yourself a pacifist, you should thank God for the true warriors that know there are times when violence is required and justified to battle the evil in this world.

These are the people who would never do harm to any innocent human being, but will absolutely not take any crap when it comes to protecting their loved ones, the weak, or the defenseless. The do no harm, but take no shit. There is a time for peace, and a time for violence. Know the difference!
