Keep Your Mind Focused on Good Thoughts
The more man meditations upon good thoughts, the better will be his world and the world at large. Confucius
Confucius taught that the more one focuses on good thoughts, the better his world is. Good thoughts, good words, good deeds is one of the main teachings of the Zoroastrian religion. The Bible teaches, “Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think about such things.” This thought is also taught in most religions and by most modern self-help teachers.
There is obviously truth in the teaching that you should learn to control your mind and develop the habit of keeping yourself focused on good thoughts. When you continuously focus on positive thoughts, you will find that your words and your deeds will both improve as well. Every word you speak and every action you take begins with your thoughts. Correct your thoughts, and your words and deeds will follow.
When you do this, you will find that your life will change for the better. You will have a better attitude; you will start to feel better and have a better outlook on life. It all starts with taking control of your thoughts. Good thoughts equal good words and good deeds. And when you take control of your thoughts, words, and actions, you are in control of your life.
