Live in Reality, not a Fantasy World

There are bad people in this world, this is a fact. There are sociopaths out there who have no feelings for anyone but themselves. To expect these people to obey the rules of society and respect our laws is ridiculous. They will do harm to others and they will do harm to you, if they are allowed. These people are like the snake in the story of the Farmer and the Snake. Never expect them to be anything other than what they are.

Whether these kind of people suffer from a mental illness or have developed their flawed attitude from incidents that have happened to them in their life, the result it the same — they will hurt or kill you if they get the chance! If you try to help them, they will take whatever you give them and then put a knife in your back.

This is the cold, hard truth that so many people in today’s society refuse to believe because it is not politically correct. But, as we know, the truth is the truth whether anyone believes it or not. These people are bad news and that’s the bottom line.

Don’t expect bad people to change their nature and treat you differently than they treat others. As Marcus Aurelius said, that is arrogance, and that kind of arrogance can cost you dearly.
