Sometimes Violence IS the Answer
If you think that you can survive a violent act without violence, you’ve already lost.
I constantly see people on social media say that there is never any reason for violence or brutality. They come up with many fictitious reasons why they believe in this erroneous statement, but the fact remains that this is completely untrue.
If you think that you can survive a violent act without violence, you’ve already lost. When I say “survive” a violent act, I mean that you are able to walk away from it unscathed. There have been some people who have “survived” a violent attack, but they have been permanently injured, paralyzed, or disfigured because of it. That is not what I call successfully surviving an attack!
If you think that you can survive a violent attack without fighting back, then you are basically hoping for mercy from someone who couldn’t care less if you live or die. Those are not the kind of odds anyone should bet on! Hoping for mercy is like betting your life on the spin of a roulette wheel. You wouldn’t be your house on a roulette wheel, why would you risk your life on it?
The fact is there is only one way to successfully survive a violent attack, and that is to be prepared to defend yourself. You have to know how to use violent techniques better than your attacker.
Moreover, you have to have the will to do whatever it takes to survive and walk away with as little injuries as possible. This doesn’t happen by chance; you have to be prepared for the attack beforehand.
You have a choice when it comes to such situations — depend on being lucky or on the mercy of someone who most likely has no mercy, or to discipline yourself to be prepared to fight back. The choice is yours. Choose wisely; your life may depend on it. Warrior up!
