Warrior Man
REKKR is the Norse word for WARRIOR MAN. It refers to warriors who are men, in the sense of their courage, bravery, deeds, and feats, rather than just by their occupation.
One of the main points of dispute with many of those who have read my work is the fact that I teach that warriors are not just those who have been to war. This one point seems to irritate more of my readers than anything else I teach, but it is true nonetheless.
Being a warrior is not what so many claim; it is in your spirit, not in your occupation. A warrior is a man, or woman, who has the courage, bravery, and willingness to stand up for what is right in the face of any opposition. There have been many warriors over the centuries who have never had to use their skills in war, but they were warriors nonetheless.
A better definition of a warrior than the one that those with a giant ego love, is anyone who fights the good fight. That fight doesn’t necessarily have to be in a war between countries. Another definition is a person who fights in battles and is known for having courage and skill. Those battles do not have to be military conflicts.
The warrior spirit is available to anyone who wants to develop it. It is not limited to military personnel. In fact, I have met many military guys who were cowards with no honor at all. I had to deal with one just last week who was a total scumbag and a coward.
There are those with no honor in every walk of life. Moreover, there are those who walk through life with the spirit of the warrior, who have never considered being a part of the military.
Being a warrior is something you are, not something you sign up for. Determine today that you will live the rest of your life as a warrior and prepare yourself as you need to.
