When you truly understand who you are, what you are, and have internalized the code by which you live, you will find both mental strength and mental calmness. This simplifies your life. You don’t have to deeply debate every decision or every action. You simply use your code as a guide by which you make your decisions, and you stick to it.
Although this sounds very simplistic and easy, it is also very easy to forget this principle and get caught up in whatever situation you may be dealing with at this time. You have to constantly remind yourself to respond instead of react, at least until it has become second nature to you.
